April Ann "Shorty" Simmons, the director of Shorty's Pup Rescue, was happy with the life she had made for herself. She was confident and fun-loving, with a soft spot for dogs. She didn't need a man in her life, but she wouldn't turn the right one away... or that's what she thought.
     Handyman and perpetual groomsman, Mason Randall Sellers was tired of being alone. Watching all of his friends find their life partners was only making that feeling of loneliness worse. After drinking more than he should have at his friend's wedding reception, Mason took to his favorite social media app to post a video asking where all the curvy, goofy, taco-loving females were hiding.
     In a burst of why-the-h*ll-not, Shorty duetted Mason's video, because she was all of those things and more, causing a viral reaction. With help from their well-intentioned friends, a surprise meeting doesn't go as planned and sparks dislike between the two. But their friends will not give up that easily.
